Set of 200 grams A + 200 grams B.
A (white) to be mixed with B component (green) in equal volume quantities until colour is uniform light green. Mixed paste has to be pushed onto the orginal with fingers.
Working time : 5 - 10 minutes.
Hardens in +- 60 minutes to a flexibel mould. Excellent to make copies of small things :sea-shells, furniture fixtures etc..
Slightly grease your hands with some foodgrade oil ( comes with the silicone paste set ) and put some release agent ( paraffinic spray or equivalent ) on the object to be copied.
Set contains : 1 kg component A (siliconebase ) + 100 grams component B ( BLUE ).
RTV Two component Polycondensation Siliconerubber TIN-based transparent catalyst.Flexible with dimensional stablility and good mechanical properties.Ideal for castings in plaster, cement, polyester, epoxy, polyurethanes, waxes..Curing time can be shortened when using Cure Accelerant .Temp resistance : up to 250 ° CStoring : 1 year in closed container between 10°C - 25°C.Can be thickened with 'Universal Rubberthickener' or Thickening Agent THIXOCan be diluted - to reach lower Shore hardness - with 'Diluant for Siliconerubber '.

Addition of 1% diluant to the readily prepared siliconemixture ( base + hardner ) decreases the Shorehardnes by 1 to 1.5 points.
Maximum addition : 10 % ( allows you to bring Shore from 25 (= strong rubber) to 10 ( = more flexible rubber ).
This means you no longer need different siliconerubbers with different Shorevalues . Just one with a relative high Shorevalue is enough; the diluant takes care of the lower shorevalues simply by adding it to the already mixed silicone-hardnermixture.
Addition of 1 - MAX 5% (by weight) to the white base component BEFORE adding hardner.
Colour : pink.
High cure rates can be interesting when making dipmoulds or brushed-on moulds; it will allow you to built up several layers in a shorter period of time.
Mixtures containing accelerant can be further thickened with universal rubberthickener or thixothropic agent if desired and can be diluted with diluant for silicones to lower or adjust the final shore hardness.
Addition of a small amount of thix to a mixture of silicone + hardner will immediately thicken the mixture.
Degree of thickening can be choosen by adding more / less thix to the mixture.
Compared to the universal rubberthickener ( dusty powder ) this product will work much cleaner and faster but there is a tendency to a somewhat higher sheerweakness when using thix.
Turns pourable rubber into a paste that can be applied with a brush or a spatula. No influence on tensile strength; Shore goes up by a few points. After adding this silicium-based powder and mixing the effect is instantaneous. Can be added to all types of silicone or PU pourable rubbers.
A flexible and strong material, excellent to make masks and moulds of bas-reliefs and ornaments. To be apllied by means of a brush in several consecutive layers; can be thickened with our thickening agent for Latex.
Dries to the air in one night ( when applied in a thin layer ) ; drying can be accelerated with a hairdryer or with a microwave oven at moderate power.
Latexmoulds can be reused up to 50 + times before rupture.
This product allows to thicken any kind of liquid moulding latex ( standard or pre-vulcanised ). Not to be used with silicones.
Allows to build up a brushed-on mould much faster and in less steps than normal.
Hairdryers or a microwave oven at moderate power can be used to speed up the drying.
