This new series of letter brushes from Escoda - developed in collaboration with lettering expert El Deletrista from Barcelona - are perfect for lettering and made with Tendo fibers - an almost perfect equivalent for natural squirrel hair - making them perfect for precise and straight brush strokes. The 6525 series is round and has a flat point.Suppleness Tendo fibers on a scale of 1 to 6: 1 (scale: 1 = soft / 6 = stiff)
An almost perfect imitation of squirrel has been achieved with this artificial hair. Thanks to the special fiber in this Ultimo series, extraordinary softness and a capacity to retain liquids is achieved which is virtually the same as that found in the natural squirrel hair. The Ultimo series could become a synthetic hair benchmark to gradually replace natural hair in the future.
